Okay, so I promised I would put this up, and I FINALLY got around to writing it! The El Dorado tutorial is here!! Wee!! :) I don't have some of the pics yet (hoping to get them soon!) but I'll put up the first part of it now!

Okay, I know I haven't been on in like, forever, but I had reasons...that I will not say. Anyway, Thursday, October 11 was the most frightening day I have EVER spent at school. It started like a regular day, but when we got to 3rd period, the announcement for a lockdown came on the loud speaker. Now, he said something about it being a drill(at past schools, they lasted a few minutes) but I thought it was more than that after the first hour. Then, after another half an hour we were told to put all of our things (backpacks, binders, books and jackets) outside in the hallway. This is when I began to suspect something. Well, another hour later, we were aloud to talk again, and, after ANOTHER half an hour, we could get our stuff. Then we were ushered over to the Auditorium by buildings. After all the students were there, the principal told us what happened. There had been a bomb threat earlier that morning, but they didn't get the message until we were all at school. The 'bomb' was supposed to go off at noon, but it didn't (thankfully). At the end of the day, all after school activities had been canceled(including my private lessons) and there were only about 100/1000(That's an estimation...exaggerated, of course) students there. It was REALLY scary...

Okay, now to happier news. The staff is taking WAY longer than I thought, but the painting is almost done. Then, we can finish it off, and THEN I will post the tutorial. I promise this time that it will be done before Thanksgiving.

I don't feel so good today...maybe it's the fact that I got rained on today or got up really early or just because school is starting TOMORROW! So today's my last day of freedom...XD I'm getting there on the staff but...I don't feel up to it today. And it looks like Wedding Yuna has been postponed...:(

So, I went to the eye doctor today. I still don't need glasses, so Yay! Then I we(mom and I) went to Applebee's for lunch and went shopping for school clothes! I got some cool stuff. :3 And, I'm getting my hair chopped off tomorrow. That's what my mom says but I'm getting rid of about...6 inches...? I should've waited so I could donate 10 inches to Locks of Love, which I have done before, but that would be above my ears, and I don't go that short.

In the paper today, I found out that one of my classmates published a book! And he's only 14! It's so cool to know an author, especially if they're your age! Oh, who watched the meteor shower over the weekend? I thought I saw a few but I didn't watch the peak of it.

So, I was gone in California last week. It was really fun! Bubble Tea is good...anyway, when we came back, the tree in our backyard had a large portion of the branches collapse.

Then we noticed that our house had been egged! We basically know the person who did it, because he hasn't come over yet, and he knows we're home. He usually comes over as soon as he possibly can. Such an annoyance, he is.

Las Vegas was...odd. I mean, the hotel we stayed in was HUGE, with glass flowers on the ceiling in the lobby and a bunch of slots. Unfortunately, you have to be 21 to be in the general area of all the slots and I'm too young. My mom, on the other hand, gambled for my Grandma, and won her 55 cents. XD Can anyone guess the hotel I'm talking about?

Then, when we walked to the nearby hotel to see Lance Burton, there were around 2 dozen people handing out cards with umm...scantily clad women on them, advertising their, what I call, 'special services'. Ugh...TRIED TO GIVE THEM TO ME, TOO!! I'm not into that stuff, darn it!

That's outtta my system now...Wedding Yuna is around 60% done! Yays!! And, for Black Mage Rikkus and Yunas, like me, I'm making a tutorial on the El Dorado staff sometime soon. And posting it here. Expect it within the next month!

Aheh...I disappeared, I know. I was here, at home, but I've been busy with wedding Yuna stuff. Anywho...Happy Late 4th of July, people! *laughs* The fireworks we could see from our driveway were COOL!! I love those gold ones that look like chandeliers(Or umbrellas, whichever you prefer!)...sorta like these ones: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/1/186170253_5ac5143aa2.jpg?v=0 But they were LOUD! It started out oddly... we saw one big firework, and then nothing for 10 minutes...Umm...did someone do that on accident? We never found out. And, there's this Chinese family across the street, and their half a dozen kids(Maybe more...I didn't count) were outside watching them, too. I suppose that's okay...but once they started, a little girl(who I could only guess was in 1st grade, since I'd seen her get off the bus before) kept yelling 'BOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' Every few seconds or so. By the midway point, my eye was twitching...a lot. Then, after they ended, my neighbor and his mom came back(They walked to go watch the fireworks up close...they were about a half a mile away) while we started sparklers. So, they went inside for a bit and then...my neighbor walks over and starts talking and talking and talking...We were using sparklers, right? He walks over and just takes the one my mom is holding. She gave me a 'You've GOT to be kidding!' look, and, if my life was an anime, I would've sweat-dropped. That's not so bad, but then he starts shoving the sparklers in my face. Boy, did that tick my parents(and me! duh...XD) off. All in all, it was a pretty fun night!

I hurt...a lot. We did a BUNCH of walking in Yellowstone on Friday, and then today I had summer gym for 4 hours...ouch. I'll give a report later in the week with pics! ^__^

In the sadder news...my best friend is leaving. It makes me SO sad! I'll miss her lots! I can keep in touch with her, too, and she's going to be at Ohayocon! She...felt like a sister to me. I hate to see her go but she has to...

I've been SO tired this weekend! On Saturday, the Orchestra went to King's Island for a contest!! We won FIRST PLACE! Of course, we were the only orchestra in our class...so we won by default. XP So, my dad won a game of ring toss, and got a HUGE stuffed Doberman! We're talking over 4 feet tall and about 2-3 feet wide...Had SO much fun, though!

Oh! I forgot! I Rikku-fied my hair on Friday for Crazy Hair day, too! It was cute! ^__^ If I can figure my phone out to get pics off of it, then I can post them!

ONLY FIVE DAYS UNTIL MY B-DAY!!! Yay!! I'm SO excited...I guess! XD Well, I'm ordering a Yuna costume soon! I really want to go to a Con...........but I can't...*sniffle* Just wait till Ohayocon! Then I'll be there! I was bored so I took this:

I have had, like, the WORST three days EVER!! Around Noon on Friday, my allergies started acting up. Great; the one place I DON'T have access to my allergy medicine. So, when I went to bed, I woke myself up an hour later with a coughing fit. Then, my cat decides to claw at my door a half an hour later...She's on my bed with me for about two hours, then she scratches at the door AGAIN to get out. I'm off to a GREAT start here...So I wake up around 7:30 and my throat is killing me. I finally got out of bed and got dressed at 9 or so.

So, Saturday wasn't too bad, except for the throbbing sore throat and constant sneezing. Last night, I barely got ANY sleep, cause I kept drinking water to soothe my throat. I just laid back and took it easy today, but my sore throat's almost gone. Although, I do have a small cold...I wanna go to bed.

Yesterday was the contest for Orchestra...it went pretty well. The best score was a 1 but I got a 2...oh well. My judge gave 2s to people I know are good players so he must've been tired from the early morning performances.

It doesn't bother me...much. But I did create something!

My school...is creeping me out!

In this past school week, there have been 5 fights, all about a boyfriend/girlfriend/someone else. The one yesterday, I got to see. The two boys were fighting over a girl...and one of them ripped the other's shirt off and they were both bleeding from the mouth...I'm a little scared. Two were today and...girl cat fights, basically. I don't want to be involved in anything like that...I hope I'm not.

Am I the only one who feels that those fights were weird and...a little creepy?

I've heard that the High school is a little worse with that sort of stuff...and my next school year is in high school.
